Lisa Senters-McDermott, private aviation expert, is the CEO and founder of Jet Senters Aviation, JSA. With more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, Lisa's journey took off in private aviation over two decades ago when she was instrumental in helping to start a charter brokerage firm in New York.
Lisa next landed in the corporate world as Senior Vice-President of Sales with NetJets/Marquis Jet. During her time there, she was a national leader selling both the Marquis Jet Card and NetJets fractional aircraft ownership for over a decade. Senters-McDermott played an instrumental role in helping to grow Marquis Jet from a start-up to a global industry leader.
Frequently quoted as one of the leading experts in aviation and nationally recognized in the press for her knowledge and expertise, Senters-McDermott has shared her insight on the private aviation landscape in various forums such as the Harvard Business School Alumni Group, speaking on behalf of Lincoln Motor Company, and is an active consultant in aviation with Coleman Research Group, out of New York.
Known as the go-to resource in private aviation, Lisa believes in the personal service side of flying, and is excited to get back to being the concierge of the cumulonimbus, providing her clients with an extraordinary experience each time they travel. Senters-McDermott is relied on as a trusted advisor to CEO’s, entrepreneurs, celebrities and fortune 100 companies. PGA great, Billy Horschel proudly wore JSA’s logo on his famous 2014 FEDEX Cup win and JSA continues to be a proud sponsor.
Lisa Senters-McDermott, who also serves on the board of Warrick Dunn Charities, is a serial entrepreneur who has had a wide range of careers and interests, even when working in the corporate environment. She grew up with a dad who was a paint salesman, and she learned to love people as much as he did. She has competed in a celebrity dance challenge against the great Evander Holyfield, winning MVP and raising over $40,000 for EDM Charities, sold TV airtime and print space, and as an early adaptor, jumped in as director of sales for the Internet start-up Net Zero. Senters-McDermott even sold a sitcom to Home Box Office (HBO) that she co-created, “Buckhead Bettyz.” In January 2015, she created her now second show that is currently being shopped to all networks. Perhaps the greatest contributor to her success is her belief that relationships are at the forefront of everything she does, and she values the relationship above all else.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Industrial Psychology, Lisa found her way to New York and continued to study at New York University, working towards a Masters of Liberal Arts. On somewhat of a dare, she later auditioned and was accepted, and studied, at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In December 2011, Lisa and her husband Ed McDermott welcomed a baby boy, Eamon to their family. She and her family are very active in the community and are members of Buckhead Church and Capital City Club. They call Atlanta home, although Lisa travels frequently and has clients, who are now friends, from coast to coast.
Lisa and her family excitedly welcome the newest chapter in their lives, Jet Senters Aviation, and are pleased and proud to offer clients the world, from Alpha to Zulu.
